Funny that will share this giant belly and swollen body but not a bad hair, no make up and puffy swollen face! One trip to the pharmacy in 90 degree heat did a number on me!
Humidity and Procardia can be blamed for the swelling. If there is a side effect on meds I will get it with this pregnancy! So, when my doctor called me last night to tell me my last culture tested positive for strep….well that just seems par for the course of this pregnancy. However the side effect on the bottle….yeah not looking forward to that.
With this diabetes diet they want me to eat every 2 hours so I am not sure when I will ever have an empty stomach! But on a happier note, when I was staying with my parents last week Sam wet through his diaper and my Dad put him in time out, I thought it was a bit severe for a punishment but understood the frustration but during that time he had a heart to heart about how using the potty would help Mommy. So we tried the potty a lot over the weekend and them yesterday we took away the diapers during the day and so far we have only has one accident in 48 hours so we are close to having a break in diapers before Avonlea makes her appearance!
Plus every time he sits on the potty he sings “I like to move it, move it” which I find highly entertaining.
